About Us

Nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Village Garden Center is one of the premier garden centers in Virginia. A family-owned business for more than 30 years, we’ve built our solid reputation of offering high-quality and unique plant material and educating customers on how to grow, select and plant beautiful gardens.

The Village Garden Center offers services for all types of landscape needs, from recreational gardeners shopping in our retail center to large commercial clients using our expert landscape architecture services. The garden center includes:

  • A retail area and gift shop that offers everything from garden and nature gifts to pottery, statuaries, garden furniture, fountains and night-lighting supplies.
  • Greenhouses and large nursery stock that includes a vast selection of plant material, from annuals to large trees.
  • A stone and soil lot with flagstone, gravels, boulders, paver and retaining wall materials.
  • A landscape construction division with leading horticulture degrees and extensive experience to create everything from classic to new and innovative designs.

We are in the process of building an exciting new retail center that will include new greenhouses, design space and a larger gift shop. Village Garden Center also shares space with the country’s leading tree care company Bartlett Tree Experts and has a long-time relationship with the Andre’ Viette Farm & Nursery.
